About_

"Democracy" is one of the core values of the European Union, this artwork is crafted in layers of paper in shades of blue, white, and gold, representing the colors of the EU.

Today, this art piece resides in the Offices of the European Union Delegation in El Salvador / Embassy of France, specifically in the Lisbon Room, its main meeting center.

The European Union Delegation granted me the opportunity to design artworks representing their values. I depicted these values using my paper layering technique, exclusively utilizing the colors of the EU (blue, white, and gold).

In this piece, a golden city blossoms from the heart of a white flower, evoking a sense of peace and renewal. With its intricately layered architecture and golden trees, the city rises in tiers, each level a testament to the strength and resilience of democracy. Golden stars radiate outward symbolizing the unity of the European Union.
