About_

“'Freedom” celebrates one of the foundational values of the European Union. Crafted meticulously in layers of paper, adorned with shades of blue, white, and gold echoing the EU's iconic colors, this artwork embodies the essence of liberty.

Currently displayed in the prestigious Lisbon Room of the Offices of the European Union Delegation in El Salvador / Embassy of France, this piece serves as a visual testament to the EU's commitment to freedom and unity.

I am grateful to the European Union Delegation for entrusting me with the task of capturing their values through art. Utilizing my signature paper layering technique, I sought to encapsulate the spirit of freedom using only the hues of the EU flag: blue, white, and gold.

In this piece, a person takes flight with wings of shimmering gold, symbolizing the spirit of freedom. With an aura of grace and determination, the figure soars with head held high, leaving a trail of golden stars, each one a symbol of the EU's commitment to liberty and unity.
