About_

"Justice" represents one of the core values of the European Union. This artwork is crafted in layers of paper in shades of blue, white, and gold, representing the colors of the EU. Today, this art piece resides in the Offices of the European Union Delegation in El Salvador / Embassy of France, specifically in the Lisbon Room, its main meeting center.

A few months ago, the European Union Delegation granted me the opportunity to design artworks that represent their values. I depicted these values using my paper layering technique, exclusively utilizing the colors of the EU (blue, white, and gold).

This particular piece features a woman facing away, her right hand reaching up to grasp a star from the sky, forming the constellation of the scales, symbolizing justice. In her left hand, she holds a book, emphasizing the importance of written laws.
